Kelly Hewitt

Kelly Hewitt

Museum Science Intern

khewitt@interpretivecenter.org

Hi! I'm Kelly Hewitt, the 2025 Fall/Winter Research Intern at the Coastal Interpretive Center. I’m a recent graduate of Gonzaga University with BAs in Biology and Art, and recently worked as the Marine Biology Specialist and aquarist/aquarium curator for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington at Camp Robbinswold. I was born and raised in Grays Harbor and live in Montesano, where my passion for local natural and cultural history began. Outside of researching niche Grays Harbor lore, I enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, sculpting, making art, scuba diving, and excavating cool stuff from secondhand stores.
