Sand Dollar Society

A monthly giving program for supporters of the Coastal Interpretive Center’s exhibits and education, outreach, and research programs.

What is it?

The Sand Dollar Society is a unique group of supporters who believe that everyone should have access to the joy and wonder of nature. The Coastal Interpretive Center does this through exhibits, education, and outreach. The Sand Dollar Society provides an opportunity to connect with others interested in the natural and cultural history of Washington’s Pacific Coast through organized social and educational gatherings.

Why Give Monthly?

  • IT’S AFFFORDABLE. By giving monthly, you invest what makes sense for you and make an incredible impact over the course of your membership in the Sand Dollar Society.
  • IT’S A COMMUNITY. Becoming a member of the Sand Dollar Society allows you to join a dedicated group of supporters who understand the importance of making a sustaining commitment in support of the valuable education and outreach provided by the Coastal Interpretive Center.
  • IT’S SUSTAINED SUPPORT. Monthly gifts enable us to invest in specific areas of our work, expand our programs, and innovate because we know we have the ongoing support of the Sand Dollar Society Community.
  • IT’S EXCITING. You’ll receive exclusive updates from the Coastal Interpretive Center and messages about those who have been impacted by your support.

Sand Dollar Society Members Receive These Benefits:

  • Quarterly progress updates, including messages about those we have been able to help with your support.
  • If you join within the next two years, your name is listed as a Founding Sand Dollar Society Member on the Coastal Interpretive Center webpage and in the Coastal Interpretive Center newsletter.
  • Complimentary Coastal Interpretive Center membership good for you and one other member of your immediate household for each year you are a sustaining member. Also includes a gift certificate for a one time 10% off purchase in the bookstore.
