The grounds around the Coastal Interpretive Center are a treasure trove of information on a variety of topics and an easy walk with small children. Along the clearly marked paths are artifacts such as the original carved seahorse from the Ocean Shores Inn, samples of a Western Hemlock rings, pieces of the shipwrecked SS Catala along with other shipwrecks, worm wood, plant and bird identification, and more.
