Habitat Wing

The habitat exhibit focuses on the four main environments on Washington’s Pacific Coast: the ocean, near shore and dunes areas, marshes and waterways, and coastal forests. Always a favorite spot, the diorama with over 50 taxidermy animals illustrates the various ecosystems and wildlife that inhabit them, from the ocean beaches to the forested uplands.

Don’t miss our new mountain goat and learn about the effects their introduction had on the Olympic Peninsula!
