DESCRIPTION:Title: “Plastics and Its Impacts to the Environment” \nBackground: Liz Schotmann\, Pacific Northwest Regional Manager of the Surfrider Foundation\, will lead a presentation on plastics and its impacts to the environment and human health. The lecture will be followed by an interactive roundtable discussion about reducing plastic use in our households.  \nThe 2023-2024 Glimpses Lecture Series is held in person on the third Thursday or Friday of each month from October through March at the Ocean Shores Lions Club from 7-9 pm. Cost of admission is $10/person to be paid at the door. Join us in learning about the natural and cultural history of Washington’s Pacific Coast!
